What a joke. Tony Snow thinks the pardons Bill Clinton did at the end of his term as President are equal to Bush’s recent commutation of Libby’s sentence. Let’s reflect, Clinton pardoned 14o people on one of his last days in office, one of which was Marc Rich. I think Marc Rich’s lawyer’s name was……let me think……..”Scooter” Libby. In addition, and the more important point, none of the 140 people that Clinton pardon were involved or even close to being involved in a conspirisy with Clinton or were they even in his cabinet. Tony Snow needs to go back to school or something on this one. I think this is all drama to draw people, and the press, away from the real crimes committed by Bush & Cheney.

WASHINGTON (AP) – The White House on Thursday made fun of former President Clinton and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, for criticizing President Bush’s decision to erase the prison sentence of former aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby.
“I don’t know what Arkansan is for chutzpah, but this is a gigantic case of it,” presidential spokesman Tony Snow said.
Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., has scheduled hearings on Bush’s commutation of Libby’s 2-year sentence.
“Well, fine, knock himself out,” Snow said of Conyers. “I mean, perfectly happy. And while he’s at it, why doesn’t he look at January 20th, 2001?”
